I am a generalist in all things computing.

It is my belief that new and innovative approaches to technology are mandatory in today's marketplace. Accomplishing this requires increased partnerships among academia, businesses, consulting firms and government agencies. My research areas of interest are in the applied use of multimedia systems, inter-organizational systems and organizational learning. In addition, I work closely with the State of Georgia as well as IT department managers from many of Atlanta's leading firms. My most recent research endeavors focus on high-speed networking such as Internet2 and LambaRail.  These networks operate at over 2000 times the current Internet speeds.  Discovering new applications which make use of this extra bandwidth may fundamentally change the processes found in today's  businesses and institutions of learning.
