The 10th AIM Conference focuses on the central topic "IT governance and IS strategy". This topic has been studied in numerous academic publications and professional reports. The term "governance" is defined in this call for papers as the "art or manner of controlling IS, planning, controlling and managing IT resources". The term “strategy”, is understood as the link, interaction or "fit" between the respective modes of IT governance and business. These two terms refer to a common vision of managers and researchers. This common vision is organized around the notions of IS success, IT return on investments, and IT business value creation. This value is generated by technological choices, expected process innovations, services improvement and, in fine, user satisfaction within organizations.

Strategy and governance are now the two convergent vectors of change, induced by new management practices, and organizational performance, sought by new models of value creation in companies of any size. This call for papers stresses the various problems of modelling, analysis, designing and evaluating organizational and inter-organizational IS. These problems are linked to the mechanisms of value creation, organizational transformation, process improvements, and, generally, the levelling of management practices. These questions are recurrent and concern , on the one hand, the automation and thus the governance of automated IS (or data processing) and, on the other hand, e-business governance. These questions are driving many research projects, often touch the various disciplines of management, industrial economy, legal, computer, networks, social and human sciences.

"IT governance and IS strategy" refers to a spectrum of contributions expected in three areas of research: first, political and economic, second, organisational and management, and third, methodological and technological. For each one of these three areas, the fields mentioned previously have numerous influences, intended to help the understanding of the phenomenon by researchers, consultants and experts, at different levels of analysis, study and research (empirical, cases, models....).

The list of possible sub-topics is not exhaustive. On the other hand, critical approaches are welcome, as well as empirical work investigating the applications perspectives in specific industries (banking, manufacturing, education, tourism, culture, local government, for instance).
